What is Adopt-A-Grandparent?

Right now we have two different volunteer opportunities available! Pick which one is right for you!

Cove Point Nursing Home:

Every Sunday we carpool to Cove Point nursing home to take 1-2 hours and sing to or visit with the residents as a group! If you're interested in driving yourself or carpooling with us, we leave from the parking lot outside the Jamba Juice almost every Sunday at 4:45 PM! Make sure to call or text Kayla at (405) 301-0221 and let her know that you are coming!

One on One Visits:

We are excited to provide opportunities to "adopt" your own grandparent with our new memory making program!

In order to sign up to meet with a grandparent individually and spend quality time helping them chronicle their lives by making a memory book, please email us with the subject line "Project Memory" so we can get you started with a couple of training videos and set up a time for you to meet with a program director!

This project is different from our Cove Point project and will require a little bit of training (30 minutes) plus a regular time commitment (1 hour a week and travel time)!"

I had such a fun time visiting  with one specific resident. She had so much energy and excitement as we talked, and it was so contagious! Our visit was so positive and impactful for her, and I'm so glad I took the time to volunteer! I felt the Spirit and came much closer to the Savior.
