What is Community Outreach Day?
Taking place on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Community Outreach Day unites both the BYU and local communities in a celebration of giving. The event consists of a free breakfast, a cultural celebration, and the completion of various service projects throughout the area.
As a one-day event, Community Outreach Day seeks to celebrate King’s legacy of selfless service and provide opportunities to serve God’s children within our community and throughout the world.

Experiences
It has been incredible to see the reaction of the charities that we serve. One woman told me that through this day of service, they are able to get more projects done than they could do by themselves. It was amazing to hear that this event really does make an impact.
