Experiences
I am so grateful for the opportunity that Conexiones gave me to get to know and serve the family I worked with. Going to their house to read their kids or help them with their homework became the highlight of my week. It was such a nice break from school and work to just connect with this family and see how I could use the language I learned on my mission to make a difference at home. They fed us authentic Venezuelan food almost every week and I even had the privilege of being a witness for their son’s baptism when he turned eight. Thank you Conexiones for the invaluable experience!
