What is Family Literacy?

The Family Literacy program helps members of the community improve their lives by increasing their reading skills. Family Literacy oversees the following programs: Project Read, Selnate International School, and the Orem Literacy Center.

Please complete this mandatory 20 minute child protection training before you begin working with the children. 




Reading with the same students consistently allowed me to build a friendship I wouldn't have otherwise. The student I worked with motivates me and makes me excited about learning all over again as I recognize his motivation and eagerness to learn. Family Literacy is about more than just reading, but the connection found through it.
