What is Jimmerosity?
Jimmerosity works with the Fredette Family Foundation to stop bullying in the Provo School District. We meet with the Kindness Clubs and Hope Squads in each school, and we also go meet with the kids during recess and after school programs. We also coordinate assemblies to promote kindness.
We are looking for volunteers who can commit to one semester of consistent service and can attend their schools on a regular basis. Below are our three locations. (Note: We CAN provide carpools!)
Canyon Crest Elementary
Thursdays from 11:10-12:30
1st and 3rd Mondays from 8-9am
Provo Peaks Elementary
Generally the 3rd Wednesday from 3-4
Program Director needed.
How do I get involved?
Volunteers should plan to commit 1-2 hours per week. This will provide consistent mentoring for the students.
Volunteers will be placed into teams. These teams will work hand in hand with an assigned school, providing trainings, activities, etc. over the course of the semester.

I have been able to see the importance of service in my life. Service brings joy and confidence. It is a sacrifice at first and then it becomes an amazing blessing. Serving the kids in Provo and Orem has been awesome. It is cool to see the potential in them and to hopfully be a role model to them. Promoting kindness with Jimmerosity. If we could all be a little more kind, the world would be a better place.

This semester was awesome. As we went into the elementary schools to help run the kindness clubs. The kids would light up as we did different activities to promote kindness between them. As they would write notes to different people they would always be happy and be having a good time. I would feel the same thing as we were making a difference in someone's life, small as it is.
