Volunteer opportunities include:
  • Youth Program Volunteers: We need folks who are ready and excited to support our facilitators overseeing our Kids Camp and Teen Time programs. These are separate, two-hour programs taking place during our main breakout sessions where kids with T1D, and their siblings and friends, can enjoy their own time together. Our support volunteers help our facilitators execute their agenda and ensure our participants are staying safe.
    • These volunteers must be over the age of 18 and will need to complete an online background check (free of charge). Kids 16 and older may volunteer, but they must have a background-checked adult volunteer with them (doesn't have to be a parent or guardian).
  • Greeters and guides: These folks welcome guests and help guide attendees between sessions.
  • Session monitors: These folks support our breakout session speakers with keeping time, fielding questions, and handing out any physical materials.
