What is MLK Community Outreach Day?

Taking place on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, January 16, 2023, MLK Community Outreach Day unites both the BYU and local communities in a celebration of giving. The event consists of a free breakfast, a cultural celebration, and the completion of various service projects throughout the area.

Projects in the past have included:
Ashford Assisted Living
Everyday Learners
Krishna Temple
Provo Parks & Rec
Charity Vision
Project Uplift

As a one-day event, MLK Community Outreach Day seeks to celebrate King’s legacy of selfless service and provide opportunities to serve God’s children within our community and throughout the world.
